Solar Panels at Kilcummin NS

Thanks to Míchéal and the team from Solar Beo for installing our 14 new roof-mounted solar panels on 7th May. We are hoping to produce approximately six kilowatts worth of power. We are delighted to be creating our own solar energy. A display screen has been set up in school for all to monitor our solar panel activity. Funding for the panels was provided by the Department of Education. We hope that the panels will help to reduce our carbon emissions and our energy bills.
