On the 17th of May, Marie Condon, Irene O'Donoghue, David O'Mahony and Órla Condon went to the Radission Blu Hotel in Cork to the Green Schools Awards Ceremony to receive the School's 10th Green Flag on Global Citizenship and Biodiversity. It was an early start but we shared a bus with neighbouring schools so we were really taking the Green Schools message of car pooling or bus pooling very seriously! There were representatives from playschools, primary schools and secondary schools from all over Kerry and Cork getting lots of different flags. It was great to get new ideas and projects on how to promote the Green Schools message. Afterwards we had lunch in the hotel which was delicious and returned back to school with our new flag and certificate!
