Beekeepers

On the 8th of June, Denis Casey and Kevin Keogh from the Beaufort Beekeepers visited the school to talk to the playschoolers and pupils of Kilcummin N.S. about the importance of bees to our environment, the life cycle of the bees and what we can do in Kilcummin N.S. to protect these amazing creatures. It was fascinating to see a real bee hive and look at a beekeepers suit up close. Thanks so much to Denis and Kevin who spoke so passionately about bees and answered all the children's questions!
