St. Vincent de Paul Food Appeal
Mr. Paddy O'Sullivan, a former teacher in Kilcummin NS was delighted to collect the St. Vincent de Paul donation boxes in December. Our 6th class pupils have organised this appeal to help families in need and thanks to all your generosity they were able to present Paddy with seven boxes.

Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal
Our Student Council was delighted to hand over the 47 boxes created by our pupils to Sheila for this year's Team Hope Shoe Box Appeal. In 2024, with your help, they sent an incredible 171,675 Christmas Shoebox gifts to children across 13 countries in Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. Your Christmas Shoebox gift really means a lot to them and brings joy, happiness and hope to their lives.

Halloween Dress Up & Art
School was taken over by ghosts, witches and all sorts of creepy creatures on the last day before our Midterm Break to celebrate the ancient Irish Tradition of Oíche Shamhna. We also celebrated Halloween with Halloween teamed artwork throughout the school.

Rugby Blitz
Our 5th and 6th class took part in an exciting Primary Schools Rugby Blitz at Killarney Rugby Club on Thursday, October 16th, 2025. This was a fun and inclusive event open to 5th and 6th Class students, offering them a fantastic opportunity to develop their rugby skills in a friendly and enjoyable environment.

Lego Spike
Our 4th to 6th Class pupils are currently having fun with the Lego Spike program. LEGO SPIKE is a line of robotics kits for STEM learning that combine LEGO bricks with a programmable hub, motors, and sensors . It uses a Scratch-based drag-and-drop visual programming language, with an option for text-based Python coding, to build and program robots to perform tasks. The system includes different sets, such as SPIKE Prime and SPIKE Essential, designed for different age groups,
